Ching Juhl is a producer, director, DP, editor as well as a music professor and concert violist. Juhl has been creating documentary shorts, videos of live performance, audition, interview and web-videos for more than 20 years.


She has worked with Face The Music, Kaufman Center, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weeks, Music for Food, New York Virtuoso Singers, New York Chamber Music Festival, Planet Fashion TV, Shanghai Quartet, Yang2020 and among others. Juhl’s doc shorts “That Moment” and  “Lingering Time” were premiered at SR Socially Relevant Film Festival New York. Her promo-video “The Only One”, has contributed winning a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for Kaufman Center in 2012. During 2019-2020, as a Yang Gang, she has made more than 100 Andrew Yang related videos.


Ching Juhl helps business big or small to create web/info videos. “Chamber Music Dolomiti”, “Canta Libre Chmaber Ensembe”, “Dawn’s Light Music Group” and “Office Tour” are examples which promotes the companies’s principals, services and images. Working with musicians, Juhl has created videos for renowned artists including Elmira Darvarova, Joe Feigin, Ian Hobson, Kim Kashkashian, Honggong Li, Harold Rosenbaum, Frank Rosengarten, Joan Tower, Carol Wincenc, Juana Zayas and among others.


Juhl’s passion for the video media started 30 years ago, when she purchaced her first video camera after winning an International Music Competition. A native of Shanghai, she holds a Video Production Certificate from New York University and a Master of Music degree from Indiana University.


As a concert violist, Ching Juhl has appeared in New York's Carnegie Hall, Washington D.C.'s Kennedy Center, Geneva's Victoria Hall, Evian's Opera House, Hong Kong's Symphony Hall and major venus in Shanghai and Beijing. She has performed with the Grand Teton Music Festival, Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra, as well as touring with Rod Stewart and Perry Como. 


Teaching at St. Joseph's College for 15 years, Ching Juhl directs the Music Studio Manhattan and works full time at the Juhl Media.
